What would you do if you could travel to the place of your ultimate dreams? Molly Faris knew her answer to that question, and her answer was "As much as possible."

This past summer, Molly had the opportunity to do just that as she traveled to Italy on a cruise, visiting the ports of Venice, Rome, Vatican City, Naples, and Florence.

"When I got the news from my parents that we were finally going to Italy, I literally could not contain my excitement. It was almost too much for me to take in," Molly said.

Ever since Molly was a young girl, she dreamed of traveling to the country of Italy. The culture has always fascinated her.

"When she was little, I would often talk about my aspirations to visit the country. So from an early age, her interest was sparked. It quickly became a dream that we both shared," Cathleen Faris, Molly's mother, said.

That dream came true in July of 2013 when the two boarded a plane in Miami, Florida and then took off to Rome, Italy. From there, their 2 week cruise experience began.

"We saw the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica and so much more," Cathleen said. "Walking through different Italian towns, we experienced many restaurants and bakeries and butchers. It felt like a movie."

Molly was ultimately inspired by the experience to explore more cultures in the future.

"The experience really inspired me to continue traveling. I truly found a new passion of mine during that trip. I want to see as much of the world as I can before I settle down in my life," Molly said.
